An open cream field sits inside a delicate floral border on this lovely rug. At the center, a wide cream field sits open and plain, framed by a delicate floral border. The middle of the rug remains entirely clear of pattern, with no central motif to break the space. The drawing gathers at the edges, where a thin black line forms a rectangular frame around the field. Pretty sage green leaves and brown tendrils climb along it, clustering at the four corners and along the sides. The border runs straight into the open ground with no guard stripes. A light antique wash left the drawing sharp while easing the colors. Full pile covers the rug. Sage notes hold against the pale ground in a bright entry. At 3'9" by 7'2", it fits an entry, a hallway corner or the space beside a bed.
