All Vintage Rugs
This is the whole catalog: every vintage Persian and Turkish rug we hold, in one place. Each was hand-knotted in the 1970s, professionally washed by specialists we have trusted for years before it was listed, and photographed exactly as it is.
They come from dozens of weaving areas, from the workshop towns of western Turkey to the village looms of central Persia, so the range runs from formal medallion carpets to plain tribal weaves. Every rug here is the only one of its kind; when a piece sells it is not restocked.

Every vintage rug we have, on one page
Most of what we sell was knotted about fifty years ago and has already spent decades on a real floor. That is the point: the wool has been walked on, the dyes have mellowed, and any weakness has long since shown itself. Each rug is professionally washed by specialists we have trusted for years before it is listed, then photographed as it is, so what you see is what arrives.
Two traditions, dozens of origins
The catalog splits into Persian work, roughly seven pieces in ten, and Turkish work, the other three in ten. Persian weaving leans on the asymmetrical knot, which suits curved floral drawing and the fine medallions of the city workshops; Turkish weaving uses the symmetrical knot, which gives stepped borders and geometry a crisp, upright edge. Beyond that split there are dozens of named origins here, from Isparta and Hamedan, our two largest, down to origins with a handful of pieces each. The origin index lists them all, and the two long reads are the Persian guide and the Turkish guide.
Finding the right size
Size is where most people start, and it is the one decision that is hard to undo. The catalog covers everything from small accent pieces through to room-size carpets: mini and accent rugs for entries and bedsides, runners for halls and kitchens, and large and oversized pieces for living and dining rooms. If you are not sure what your room needs, measure first and read how to choose the right rug size, or work through the size guide. You can also browse straight by size.
Color, price and where to start
Because these are vintage pieces, color is a matter of what time has done to the original dyes rather than what a mill decided this season. Browsing by color is the quickest way through if you already know the palette of the room. On price, about half the catalog sits at the lower end of our range, with the largest and finest city pieces running higher; you can filter by price if that is the constraint. New to buying vintage? Our beginner’s guide walks through a first purchase end to end, and our guide to why hand-knotted rugs outlast machine-made ones explains what you are actually paying for.
What they all have in common
Every rug in this catalog is hand-knotted wool pile on a cotton foundation, and almost all are low pile, which means they clear doors, sit flat under furniture and suit underfloor heating. Nothing here is machine-made, nothing is a reproduction, and nothing is restocked. Shipping to the US and Canada is free and fully insured.
