8486 · 6' x 10'1" Turkish Manisa Area Rug

Dark brown vines and pale green leaves cover the field in a charming lattice. A dense lattice of dark brown vines and pale green leaves covers the gray beige field in a continuous repeat. No single medallion holds the design; instead, small flower heads link the scrolling stems across the open ground. The main border is pale green, filled with graceful dark brown vine scrolls and small flowers. Guard stripes in dark brown and cream line the border’s edges. Pile runs low in scattered spots, and a full wash has muted every color toward the gray beige ground. The ground is muted, letting the vines and pale green sit against neutral walls. At 6' by 10'1", it fits a living room with the front legs of the sofa and chairs on the rug, or beside a queen bed.

Every rug we sell is one of a kind, and this is the only one like it. It is hand-knotted wool pile on a cotton foundation, professionally washed and cleaned before it reaches you, and shipped folded and fully insured. Age-related wear and the small inconsistencies of a handmade weave are part of what these rugs are.
