3847 · 3'7" x 2' Persian Azerbaijan Accent Rug

Two near-black hexagonal medallions sit on the deep red field of this amazing rug. At the center, two handsome near-black hexagonal medallions hold geometric cores of cream and orange on a deep red field. Cream hooked motifs float in the open red space between the near-black central forms. The main border is burgundy, carrying a jagged orange vine and small cream accents around the perimeter. Narrow guard stripes of cream and near-black frame the field and the outer edge. The pile is full across the face and in the borders. The bold red and near-black geometry gives the floor weight in a small space. At 3'7" by 2', it fits an entry, a hallway corner or the space beside a bed.
