A scrolled cream medallion with a navy ground makes this a wonderful rug. Across a deep red field, delicate scrolling vines and small blossoms in cream, navy and gold fill the space around the center. A scrolled cream medallion sits there, its navy ground holding a gray and pink core with a small navy square. Navy corner pieces sit at the four corners, and at each end a pointed red panel holds a peach vase of flowers. The main border is cream, set with a thin vine of small red, green and blue blossoms, inside a narrow rust stripe. The field and the border both carry full pile. It holds a warm red line down a hall, cooled by the navy corners and the cream drawing. At 3'3" by 9'4", it fits a hallway or the space along the side of a bed.
