Rows of small cream motifs repeat in a diagonal lattice on this lovely rug. Set within a rust field, rows of small cream and dark brown motifs repeat in a tight diagonal lattice. The pattern runs edge to edge with no medallion to interrupt the steady drawing. A handsome slate blue border carries a row of small near-black geometric figures around the perimeter. A narrow dark brown edge binds the outside. The pile has thinned in a few patches across the center, where the red looks lighter and white specks show. The cool slate blue border holds the warm rust ground steady along a narrow passage. At 1'6" by 3'3", it fits an entry, a hallway corner or the space beside a bed.
