The medallion is a lobed form in cream and pale green, with scrolling leaves at its core, and a smaller cluster sits above and below it. A wide powder blue border carries pale scrolling vines, with small red flowers at its corners. Inside it, a narrow band of small brown and cream motifs runs between thin dark brown stripes. A few worn patches in the red field and the border let the foundation show. It suits a room that needs warmth, with the pale blue frame cooling the faded red center. At 6'6" by 10'10", it fits a living room with the front legs of the sofa and chairs on the rug, or beside a queen bed.
