1280 · 3'1" x 9'5" Persian Zanjan Runner Rug

A stepped diamond medallion with a near-black ground sits at the middle of this charming rug. Navy leaf sprays and cream blossoms are scattered along the length of the deep red field. A handsome stepped diamond medallion sits at the middle, its near-black ground holding lovely red and pink flowers, with stepped pendants at the top and bottom. Cream spandrels fill the two ends of the field, each set with red flowers and fine crossing lines. The main border has a red ground carrying cream, tan and navy leaves with a few orange accents. Inside it, a near-black guard stripe of red and orange curls runs between thin orange and cream lines. The pile is low in places, most plainly in the field below the medallion, where the foundation shows. The cream ends lighten the long red run of this narrow runner. At 3'1" by 9'5", it fits a hallway or the space along the side of a bed.
