This charming rug carries cream and orange rosettes on a dark blue field. A dark blue field holds cream and orange rosettes, red and teal leaves, and thin rose vines. There is no single medallion; paired flower heads, flowers seen from above, run down the center in a loose column. A beautiful cream main border carries pretty red and pink blossoms and small leaves, with a dark band outside it and a rose guard stripe inside. The pile is worn low across much of the field in pale streaks, and the foundation shows through, while the border keeps more pile. The dense drawing keeps the eye moving along the length without looking crowded. At 3'5" by 9'6", it fits a hallway or the space along the side of a bed.
