8085 · 5'6" x 9' Turkish Isparta Area Rug

A central medallion in smoke gray and tan sits on this charming rug. Across a cream and pale gray field, a dense lattice of scrolling vines and small flowers in gray brown and tan fills the open ground. A central medallion in smoke gray and tan frames a delicate rosette within curling leaves, with pendants reaching toward the top and bottom. Large clusters of gold and brown acanthus leaves mark the sides and ends. A broad border in gray beige runs a continuous band of dainty palmettes and leaves, edged by narrow bands of simple vine. The pile is low in places, and the foundation shows through in the most worn patches. It grounds a calm space, letting the soft tan and smoke gray lines stay gentle. At 5'6" by 9', it fits a bedroom beside the bed, a study under a desk, or a small sitting area.

Every rug we sell is one of a kind, and this is the only one like it. It is hand-knotted wool pile on a cotton foundation, professionally washed and cleaned before it reaches you, and shipped folded and fully insured. Age-related wear and the small inconsistencies of a handmade weave are part of what these rugs are.
