8256 · 4'2" x 8'4" Turkish Isparta Area Rug

Rust and steel blue sprays drift around a lobed medallion on this charming rug. On a cream field, scattered sprays of rust and steel blue flowers drift around a central form. A gorgeous lobed medallion sits at the center, its core worked in pale green and blue with rust petals radiating out. Rust floral sprays gather in the four corners. The main border runs rust, carrying a lovely scroll of blue and green blossoms. Narrow guard stripes in steel blue and cream separate this wide band from the open field. Pile runs low in spots, and pale patches reveal the weave beneath. It holds the soft rust and blue notes together without making the cream ground feel bare. At 4'2" by 8'4", it fits a bedroom beside the bed, a study under a desk, or a small sitting area.

Every rug we sell is one of a kind, and this is the only one like it. It is hand-knotted wool pile on a cotton foundation, professionally washed and cleaned before it reaches you, and shipped folded and fully insured. Age-related wear and the small inconsistencies of a handmade weave are part of what these rugs are.
