A lobed medallion with pink and blue blossoms makes this a lovely rug. At the center, a splendid lobed cream-yellow medallion holds pink and blue blossoms on a pale sage green field. Notched pendants extend from the top and bottom of this central shape into the open ground. Charming pale blue scrolls curve into the corners, carrying scattered sprays of pink flowers and brown vines. The main border is cream, set with a chain of sky blue rosettes and small pink buds linked by dark stems, with a plum and cream band inside it. The pile has thinned across the field, and the sage reads lighter where wear shows. The dense drawing keeps the soft pink and blue notes clear against the pale ground. At 5'1" by 8'9", it fits a bedroom beside the bed, a study under a desk, or a small sitting area.
