Faint outlines of charming vines, boteh shapes and small rosettes cover the dusty rose field, which is nearly one color. A star-shaped medallion sits at the center, its rose core ringed in pale turquoise, with thin pendants reaching toward the top and bottom. Narrow guard stripes of small outlined motifs frame the edge on either side. A full antique wash, no color left at strength, has brought every hue to one warm level. The pile is low and flat across the whole rug, and the drawing holds mostly as fine dark lines. The soft pink and turquoise keep the large format light. At 6'4" by 9'7", it fits a living room with the front legs of the sofa and chairs on the rug, or beside a queen bed.
