Against the sage field, the gray brown medallion looks lovely. Over a sage field, fine vines hold palmettes and small rosettes in cream, tan and teal. A broad lobed medallion in gray brown rests in the middle, its inner shape a tan lobed form with a cream flower core. Lobed tips at either end of the central form run into the vine scrolls. In each corner, a sage arch holds a small gray blue and brown floral ornament. The main border runs gray beige, carrying fine small flowers and brown diamond ticks. Pale blue green and tan guard stripes line the border. The pile is full across the face. A light antique wash has eased the colors and left the drawing clear. The sage ground lets the brown accents stand out clearly across a roomy space. At 9'11" by 12'10", it fits a dining table for six with the chairs pulled out, or a full living room seating group.
