4426 · 10'1" x 13'7" Persian Kerman Oversized Rug

The lobed navy medallion ringed in sage blue makes the rose red field charming. A rose red field, paler through the middle, is scattered with small flower sprays in blue, tan and pink. A lobed navy medallion ringed in sage blue floats at the center, tipped top and bottom, with a rosette heart, a flower viewed from above. Pale sage blue corner pieces curl into the corners with lovely vines and pink blossoms. A gorgeous navy main border carries tan palmette cartouches and pink flower heads, between a sage blue guard stripe and a red edge. The pile is worn thin across much of the field, so the foundation shows through and the rose turns powdery; the border and corners keep their pile. In a room of pale walls and linen, the sage blue rests easily while the navy steadies the rose. At 10'1" by 13'7", it fits a dining table for six with the chairs pulled out, or a full living room seating group.

Every rug we sell is one of a kind, and this is the only one like it. It is hand-knotted wool pile on a cotton foundation, professionally washed and cleaned before it reaches you, and shipped folded and fully insured. Age-related wear and the small inconsistencies of a handmade weave are part of what these rugs are.
