Two large hexagonal medallions run in a column down this lovely rug. The deep red field frames a column of two large hexagonal medallions in camel, dark blue and rust. One medallion holds a dark blue ground with stepped motifs, while the other carries a red center with similar geometric forms. Serrated edges in dark blue and rust outline each shape against the camel background. Small hooked motifs and a diamond sit in the camel ground between them. Fine diagonal stripes in tan fill the camel ground. Pile runs low in spots, and pale flecks dot the surface. It holds a strong graphic line in a narrow passage, balancing the warm red ends with the camel center. At 1'8" by 5'8", it fits an entry, a hallway corner or the space beside a bed.
