Dusty rose and pale gray herati forms make this a lovely runner. The gray brown field and everything on it share one soft warmth, the result of a full antique wash, no color left at strength. A splendid pale outline lattice of herati forms in dusty rose and pale gray covers the field end to end, with no medallion. No corner pieces break the lattice, which carries on to the border’s edge. A broad pale pink border holds a close row of pretty flower heads and stems, between slim guard stripes carrying a zigzag vine. Wear runs low across the whole piece, and the design is still complete. Gray brown and dusty rose let the walls and floor lead, so this runner fits a hall without competing. At 3'5" by 13'3", it fits a hallway or the space along the side of a bed.
