4721 · 8'2" x 10'10" Persian Kerman Oversized Rug

A charming lobed medallion in navy and cream rests on the red field. Over a deep red field, scattered sprays of small blossoms in cream, steel blue and tan stand around the medallion. A gorgeous lobed medallion in navy and cream sits at the heart, holding a pink and pale blue core, with a pendant at each end. Each corner of the border holds a lovely pink rosette ringed with cream scrolls. The main border is steel blue, set with brown scrolling vines and cream leaves. A narrow tan stripe with a fine brown vine runs between the border and the field, edged in thin navy. The pile is worn low across much of the field, and the foundation shows through where the red reads paler. It suits a room that needs warmth, letting the steel blue border cool the red center. At 8'2" by 10'10", it fits a dining table for six with the chairs pulled out, or a full living room seating group.

Every rug we sell is one of a kind, and this is the only one like it. It is hand-knotted wool pile on a cotton foundation, professionally washed and cleaned before it reaches you, and shipped folded and fully insured. Age-related wear and the small inconsistencies of a handmade weave are part of what these rugs are.
