1335 · 2'7" x 6'4" Persian Zanjan Runner Rug

Three large geometric medallions run down the center of this charming rug. The deep red field holds a column of three large geometric medallions running down the center. The top and bottom medallions are navy hexagons with red cores, while the central one is brown and holds a pale pink octagon. Small star rosettes sit in the corners at each end, and smaller octagonal motifs float in the red space between the main shapes. A gorgeous burgundy border carries small geometric figures in terracotta and light brown, edged by narrow guard stripes. A few patches have thinned, and white foundation shows through the center medallion. It brings a strong vertical line of red and navy to a narrow passage. At 2'7" by 6'4", it fits an entry, a hallway corner or the space beside a bed.
