This tan runner is charming, with a column of large hooked medallion forms down the center. Stepped geometric figures and small lattice grids in slate blue and brown cover the tan field. A column of large hooked medallion forms runs down the center, each holding a small round rosette in its core. The design repeats along the length with no corner pieces. A splendid dark blue main border frames the piece, carrying a chain of pretty tan blossoms and angular leaf shapes. Narrow guard stripes in tan with small blue zigzag marks edge the border on both sides. Pile runs low in a few small spots, and pale flecks of the foundation show on the face. It anchors a long passage, keeping the blue pattern distinct against the warm ground. At 3'8" by 16'6", it fits a hallway or the space along the side of a bed.
