8097 · 6' x 10' Turkish Isparta Area Rug

This lovely rug has a lobed medallion outlined in fine brown vine. The field shows muted pink that fades to cream near the edges, with charming floral sprays in pale blue, sage and brown around the center. A lobed medallion sits in the middle, outlined in fine brown vine around a small star rosette with pale blue touches. Garlands of blossoms in cream and pale blue ring the open ground, with larger bouquets at the four corners. A dark brown border patterned with tiny cream leaves and dots runs around the outside, and its corners are cut at an angle. The pile is low and even across the face. It holds a soft warmth, the brown border grounding the pale pink and blue notes. At 6' by 10', it fits a living room with the front legs of the sofa and chairs on the rug, or beside a queen bed.

Every rug we sell is one of a kind, and this is the only one like it. It is hand-knotted wool pile on a cotton foundation, professionally washed and cleaned before it reaches you, and shipped folded and fully insured. Age-related wear and the small inconsistencies of a handmade weave are part of what these rugs are.
