8482 · 5'8" x 9'8" Turkish Isparta Area Rug

A lobed oval medallion of cream and ochre makes this a delightful rug. Over a muted pink field, charming scrolling vines and floral sprays in cream, sky blue and sage curve around a central medallion. The medallion is a lobed oval of cream and ochre, with a small flower at its core and leafy pendants reaching toward the top and bottom. Large sprays of blue and brown blossoms sit in the four corners and echo a dainty garland on a cream band inside the border. The outer border runs brown, dotted with small cream flowers. The soft rose and blue sit against the cream, suited to a bright room. At 5'8" by 9'8", it fits a bedroom beside the bed, a study under a desk, or a small sitting area.

Every rug we sell is one of a kind, and this is the only one like it. It is hand-knotted wool pile on a cotton foundation, professionally washed and cleaned before it reaches you, and shipped folded and fully insured. Age-related wear and the small inconsistencies of a handmade weave are part of what these rugs are.
