The rows of boteh across this burgundy field are charming. On a burgundy field, rows of small boteh in navy, steel blue and cream repeat across the whole field. No medallion interrupts the lattice, which runs unbroken to the inner stripes. The main border is cream, carrying small hooked figures in red and navy with teal triangles between them. Many narrow stripes in navy, red and steel blue step out from the field on both sides of it, with a thin red edge closing the outside. The pile is lower in a band down the center, where the burgundy reads paler; the borders are full. It holds a strong graphic presence, the cream band and navy stripes framing the red. At 8'5" by 11'8", it fits a dining table for six with the chairs pulled out, or a full living room seating group.
